Foreign Language Bibles

Russian, Portuguese, Japanese--these are just a few of the languages included in our collection of foreign language Bibles. View a German Bible, translated by Martin Luther to give the Word of God to the common people of his day in their own language. The first Hebrew Bible printed in America also appears in our collection. Few Chinese Bibles such as ours still exist, due to the Communist persecution following that era. These Bibles, however, also remind us of the work of renowned nineteenth century missionary J. Hudson Taylor, who lived as the Chinese did in order to spread the gospel of Christ to the people of that nation. Spanish, Italian, and African Bibles also adorn our must-see assortment of copies of the Word of God in numerous languages of the world.
